BELOVED PIETRO

Music, evading reason, penetrates those recesses of the soul where words cannot reach.

From a letter from Rebeca

...

Musical works

do not require the permission of reason to access those regions of emotions that are not marked on maps, although they do not guarantee entry.

To ensure

that the theoretical and technical knowledge of a musician serves as a tool for connection rather than a hindrance, it's crucial that primal impulses, with all their irrationality, play a role in the processes of composition, conducting, and interpretation. This integration is so profound that sanity and delirium are seen as two sides of the same coin.

Jürgen Weber

Supporting this premise,

'Beloved Pietro'—a concerto for soprano, piano, and orchestra—shouldn't be regarded as a mere addition. It stands as an independent piece, seamlessly blending into a narrative that unfolds around its protagonists without any barriers.
